About The Project
iFly, an indoor skydiving facility, offers visitors an exhilarating and immersive experience that simulates the thrill of real skydiving. Designed with first-time flyers in mind, the journey begins with engaging video tutorials and progresses to a lifelike simulation of boarding and jumping from an aircraft.
To enhance this experience, a sophisticated show system was developed, seamlessly networked and configured across 8–10 PCs. The system orchestrates dynamic content playback at specific points along the visitor timeline. In the waiting area, guests enjoy a series of engaging flying-related fun facts. When it’s time to proceed, an automated door opens with an audio cue signaling the boarding of a plane. Inside the aircraft-themed room, visitors watch an instructional video before being guided by a live instructor.
Networking Hardware & Software
The experience culminates in a wind tunnel simulation, where visitors feel powerful gusts of wind and hear the sound of helicopter rotors, immersing them in the sensation of preparing for a jump.
The entire show runs on a half-hour reset sequence, with an admin console enabling easy video uploads, content updates, and manual control over any segment, ensuring flexibility and seamless operations.
